Rise Up October is an annual protest that happens in Seattle that is part of a larger, nationwide protest that condemns racial violence.

Members of the protest held up signs of those killed injustly by the police, or who suffered horrible crimes at the hands of the law.

The names of those harmed by police due to race or mistreatment were read, and the audience repeated them in rememberance

Volunteers came up to the stage to read the names and stories of those who were on their signs
